One of our participants, reviewing an underwater field sketch to describe and draw what he observed in the lab.
Today was an optional day to do a creative exploration of the coral reef and to develop some observation and sketching skills. Everyone had the opportunity to try underwater field sketching, underwater photography and quantifying coral reef health. Back in the lab, participants experimented with creating art from what they sketched, photographed and identified underwater with watercolor and pen & ink.
